Outside of my love of dentistry I enjoy playing piano and guitar, bowling, and learning new things through audiobooks.

Biography
I grew up in the small town of Eatonville Florida. I’ve always enjoyed helping people and learning new things. After high school, I enlisted in the United States Army as a dental assistant, where I progressed to the position of sergeant as a dental hygienist. While in the army I met my wonderful wife. I served my country for 13 years, and decided to take my dental education to the next level.
I attended the University of Houston Clear Lake, where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in a little over two years. After which, I was accepted to Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville Tennessee in 2012. While there, I developed a strong passion for the field of dentistry. After graduating I made a point of always improving my craft through further education. I have completed more than 1000 hours of additional training covering several dental disciplines.
I practiced in Florida for approximately 5 years for a corporation, teaching and mentoring doctors in the company. Even though I loved working for them, I felt that I needed to give my wife and two awesome children more of my time. My wife being originally from White Oak Texas lead us to move to Kilgore Texas.
Because I am a lifelong learner, I continue to train to improve my abilities to deliver high quality care to my patients. Recently I’ve finished an implant maxicourse taught by Dr. José Pendroza( one of Puerto Rico’s foremost Reconstructive implant surgeons) and Dr. Hilt Tatum( one of implant dentistry’s founding pioneers) which will allow us to bring sedation options in the coming years!
